Mr. James Monroe Lee

  Mr. James Monroe Lee, 88, died at Beauregard Memorial Hospital
in DeRidder, La., on May 7, 1989.

  Services were held at Bellwood Baptist Church, on Wednesday, May
10, at 11 a.m., with Rev. James McDonald officiating. Burial was
at Bellwood Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Lee of Provencal; two
sons, Charles M. Lee of Provencal, and T. C. Lee of Phoenix,
Ariz.; one daughter, Gladys L. Godson of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; six
grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one great-great
grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers include Doyle Lee, Truly Higgins, Charles
Thibodeaux, Roland Lee, Kenneth Lee, and Tilman Broadway.
Alternates were David Thibodeaux, and John Young.
