Rev. Charles Bates officiated. Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville. Mr. Lauw, 56, of Natchitoches, died Dec. 15, in Raceland. He was a resident of Natchitoches, and a native of Marthaville. He was a mechanic for an offshore pipeline in Houston, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Natchitoches, a graduate of Marthaville High School, and attended U.S.L. for two years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marthaville. Survivors include his wife, Nancy J. Lauw of Natchitoches, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ardis M. Lauw of Natchitoches; three daughters, Shannon Creppel of Kisatchie, Jodi Kilgore of Marthaville, and Jacqueline Lauw of Natchitoches; three sisters, Mildred Moore, and Mickey Cedars of Natchitoches, and Elaine Bonaventure of New Rhodes; three brothers, Don Lauw of Houston, Dale Lauw of Baton Rouge, and Lloyd Lauw of Lake Charles; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Jones, Luke Jones, Brett Waguespack, Alvin Moore, Buddy Bonaventure, and Lloyd Lauw. Honorary pallbearers were Devon Jones, Brad Jones, and Roy Cedars.
