All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Doyle Wayne Lee Funeral services for Doyle Wayne Lee, 60, of Provencal, were held Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996, at 2 p.m., in the Provencal United Pentecostal Church. Officiating was Rev. C. J. Walea. Interment was at Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Graveside services were conducted by the Sabine Chapter No. 21, of the DAV. Mr. Lee passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 3:58 a.m., at the Dubuis Hospital in Shreveport. Mr. Lee was formerly of Fisher. He was a maintenance man for Boise Cascade, with 35 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris E. Lee of Provencal; one son, Michael Lee of Waskom, Tex.; three daughters, Gail Durbonne of Opelousas, Rebecca Collins of Waskom, Tex., and Tammy Duree of Provencal; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Colston of Many, Mrs. Annie Higgins of Pineville, Mrs. Evon Broadway of Robeline, and Mrs. Loretta Davis of Provencal; three brothers, Thomas E. Lee of Berlin, Germany, Kenneth Lee of Vowells Mill, and J. R. Lee of Shreveport; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mike Sculthorpe, Charles Self, Stanley Flenniken, Rufus Kelly, Lee Eddie Self, and Keith Nett. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Carhee, and Steve Parker.
