Euel E. Law

  Euel Eugene Law Sr., 76, prominent businessman of Marthaville,
died Thursday night, Feb. 10, at the V. A. Hospital in
Shreveport.

  Mr. Law was a lifetime resident of Marthaville, and owned and
operated a drugstore for 42 years in Marthaville.

  Funeral services were held in the Marthaville Methodist Church,
Sunday, Feb. 13. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the
direction of First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

  He is survived by his widow; one son, Euel E. Law Jr. of
Shreveport; four daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Donahue of St. Louis,
Mo., Mrs. Dottie Jean Henry of Paxton, Ill., Mrs. Lottie Hennigan
of Shreveport, and Mrs. Linda Eason of Bossier City; four
brothers, Sherwood Law of Coushatta, Hoyt Law of Kilgore, Tex.,
J. W. Law of Florien, La., and J. B. Law of Smackover, Ark.;
eight sisters, Mrs. Leslie Ponder of Amite, Mrs. J. E. Cassady of
Alexandria, Mrs. L. B. Watson of Shreveport, Mrs. Fay Wright of
Many, Mrs. Rebba Oxley of Leesville, Mrs. Heflin Wallace of
Benton, Mrs. Lee Hayes, and Mrs. Clarence Smith of Florien; and
10 grandchildren.
