Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., June 9, at the Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, Texas. The Rev. David Green, with St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiated. A second funeral service was held at 10 a.m., June 10, at Prospect Methodist Church in Florien, with Dr. William Boyd officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery. Mr. Lee was born in Sabine Parish, June 28, 1928. He had lived in Orange, Texas for the past 56 years, and worked as a general mechanic for Dupont Sabine River Works, where he retired after 37 years of service. He was also the founder of Triple L. Honda in Orange, Texas. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Masonic Lodge #1345 AF and AM, also in Bridge City. Survivors include his widow, Dorothy Lee of Orange; two sons, Dennis G. Lee and wife Starla of Orange, Texas, and Ronald J. Lee of Conroe, Texas; two sisters, Freda Wells of Beaumont, Texas, and Letha Larson of Groves, Texas; two grandchildren, Christopher Grover Lee, and Matthew Needham Lee. Memorial donations may be made to the Prospect Methodist Church, 1401 Prospect Road, Florien, La. 71429 Claybar Funeral Home, Orange, Texas.
