F. E. Lowe

  F. E. Lowe, Converse, passed away Aug. 29, at Allen Sanitarium,
after a long illness. His funeral was held Aug. 30, at Old Union
Baptist Church near Benson in DeSoto Parish, under the direction
of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Mr. Lowe came to Louisiana in 1898, settling near Many. He
married Lizzie McComic in 1900. He moved to Benson in 1925. He
was a retired farmer of DeSoto Parish.

  Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Lizzie McComic Lowe; one
daughter, Mrs. Wilson McDonald; two grandchildren, Linda, and
John Wilson McDonald Jr. of Mansfield, Rt. 4.

  Pallbearers were Bryan Norwood, B. B. Norwood, Allen Norwood, H.
R. McDonald, Jim Evans, and W. I. LaFitte.
