Officiating was Dr. William Crosby, pastor of First Baptist Church. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. Mr. Love died Wednesday, Jan. 29, at DeSoto Regional Health System. He was born in Allen Bridge, La., and was a resident of Mansfield. Mr. Love retired as Postmaster at Pleasant Hill. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine R. Love. He is survived by nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law. Pallbearers were Ben Lightfoot, Lawson Love, Joe Robertson, Clay Robertson, Billy Ray Locke, and Louie Melton. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Lowery, Hughes Jordan, E. A. Laffitte Jr., Bill James, Goode Edge, Reuben Williams, and members of Mansfield Fire and Police Departments.
