The Sabine Index - Mrs. June Elaine Lopez

  14 Jun 2000 - Mrs. June Elaine Lopez, 83, of Many died
Sunday, June 11, 2000 at Sabine Medical Center. She was born
Sept. 5, 1916 in Zwolle.

  Mrs. Lopez retired from Vandegaer Abstract Company after 40
years of service. She was very active in the St. John's Catholic
Church. She was a member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary in Many, a
member of the Federal Employees and a member of the Catholic
Knights.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13 at
St. John Catholic Church with interment following at St. John
Cemetery. Father John Pardue officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Floyd Lopez of Many;
step-mother, Marie Ebarb of Zwolle; six brothers, David Ebarb of
Zwolle, Frank Ebarb of Many, Greg Ebarb, Jim Ebarb, Kenneth
Ebarb, and Pat Ebarb all of Zwolle; 13 sisters, Eunice Ebarb of
Many, Marsha Anderson of Michigan, Brenda Hall of Shreveport,
Mildred Heard of Shreveport, Laverne Jones of Harrah, Okla.,
Cindy King of Slidell, Doris Leone of Zwolle, Theresa Malmay of
Zwolle, Kimberly Procell of Noble, Joyce Santos of Pineville,
Maryln Shoemaker of Zwolle, Delores Springer of Midwest City,
Okla., and Shelia Ybarbo of Shreveport; and a host of neices and
nephews. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her parents, Martin
and Inez Ebarb; brothers, Martin N. Ebarb, Jr., Herman (Bib)
Ebarb, Michael Ebarb and Anthony Ebarb. Sisters, Peggy Craig and
Shelly Ebarb.

  Pallbearers were Kenneth Ebarb, Jim Heard, Darrell
Sepulvado, David Earl Ebarb, Anthony Ebarb, Pat Ebarb. Honorary
pallbearers were Leamon Lopez, Conrad Cathey, Dale Cooper, Don
Beasley, Roger Lopez and Doug Sepulvado.
