Mrs. Lopez' hobbies were shopping, gardening, planting flowers, fishing, and dancing. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 11, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Ebarb, with interment following at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Ebarb. Father Kenneth Williams officiated. Survivors include three sons, Joseph E. "Buck" Lopez and wife, Annette of Abbeville, Joseph C. "Buckeye" Lopez and wife, Claire of Noble, and Terry Joe Lopez and wife, Cheryl of Ebarb; six daughters, Mary Imogene Thomas of Madison, Miss., Thelma Laine Doucet and companion, Jay Denton of Zwolle, Margie Gleason and husband, Billy of Southhaven, Miss., Sarah Bourque and husband, Dale of Abbeville, Virginia Ebarb and companion, Tommy Cosenza of Noble, and Debbie Rivers and husband, Robin of Zwolle; longtime companion, Sammy "Bud" Procell of Noble; two sisters, Rose Mae Procell, and Bernice Procell; 30 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lopez; parents, Foster and Rosalina Paddie; two brothers, Willard Paddie, and Joseph "Shane" Paddie; and one granddaughter, Lisa Gleason. Pallbearers were Kevin Boudreaux, grandson-in-law, Johnny Ebarb, Scottie Gleason, grandson, Moses Perez, grandson-in-law, Gilbert Procell, Damon Rivers, grandson and Anthony Sepulvado, grandson-in-law. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons and her nephews. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers that provided care, compassion, and kindness to our loved one during her illness.
