A. J. LaVasseur

  A. J. LaVasseur, 72, a building contractor, who had resided in
Shreveport for 55 years, died Aug. 29, at 11:30 a.m., in
Schumpert Hospital, after a long illness.

  Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Withers, and Mrs.
Vivian Barnes, both of Pleasant Hill.
