Addie Lafitte

  Mrs. Addie F. Lafitte, 85, of Shreveport, died Sunday, March 27,
in Midway Manor Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

  The Sabine Parish native had lived in Shreveport six years, and
was a Baptist.

  The funeral was at 10 a.m., Tuesday, in Wellman's Funeral Home
Chapel, with the Rev. G. W. Coward, pastor of Pine Island Baptist
Church of Vivian, officiating. Burial was in Aimwell Cemetery in
Zwolle.

  Mrs. Lafitte's survivors include a son, Vernice V. Lafitte of
Shreveport, and two sisters, Mrs. H. M. O'Neal of Shreveport, and
Mrs. Annie Parrott of Norman, Okla.
