Laurie G. Lafitte

  Laurie Gem Lafitte, 12, of Natchitoches, died Monday, Dec. 31,
at her residence, after a short illness.

  The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 3, in St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Mansfield, with the Rev. Yves Robitalla
officiating. Burial followed in Rambin Cemetery.

  Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bell Young Lafitte
of Natchitoches; two sisters, Lisa F. Lafitte, and Melanie A.
Lafitte, both of Natchitoches; two brothers, Timothy N. Lafitte
of Angleton, Tex., and Edwin K. Lafitte of Natchitoches; her
paternal grandparents, B. A. Lafitte of Apache Junction, Ark.,
and Frances Lafitte of Pelican; and her maternal grandmother,
Mrs. Grace Elliott of Robeline.
