Mrs. Clara W. Lafitte

  Services were held Monday, September 13, at 2 p.m., at First
United Methodist Church, Cotton Valley, for Mrs. Clara W.
Lafitte, 85, of Cotton Valley. The Rev. Steve Bearden officiated.
Burial was in Cotton Valley Cemetery, with Rose-Neath Funeral
Home's Minden chapel in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lafitte died
Sunday, September 12, at Minden Medical Center, of a sudden
illness.

  Mrs. Lafitte was a native of Pleasant Hill. She was a homemaker,
and member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

  Survivors include a son, Carl D. Lafitte, Bossier City;
daughter, Mrs. Loma L. Wright, Cotton Valley; six grandchildren;
fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
