Laffitte, 88, of Mansfield, were at 2:00 p.m., Mon. Sept. 27, at Drewett Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Allen Dupree, assisted by Rev. J. N. Myers. Burial was at Sloan Cemetery near Mansfield. Mr. Laffitte, born at Center, Texas, was a Last Daughter of the Old Confederate Soldiers. She died Sun. Sept. 6, at Mansfield, after a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, Marshall M. Laffitte, Oxford, and James Laffitte, Mansfield; a daughter, Mrs. Lula Mae Young, Bullard, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
