Lovitt, 57, of Many, died Saturday, April 14, 1984, at 2:26 a.m., in the Sabine Medical Center, Many. She is survived by her husband, Edd Ray Lovitt, Many; two daughters, Glenda Anthony, Florien, and Barbara Gibbs, Many; three sons, Keith Lovitt, Zwolle, Phil Lovitt, Mansfield, and Mark Lovitt, Many; three sisters, Audrey Salter, Florien, Mary Leach, Fort Jesup, and Dazell Roux, Cameron; two brothers, Arvil Maxie, Big Lake, Texas, and Charles Maxie, California; and eight grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Lovitt were held Sunday, April 15, at 2:30 p.m., in the Oak Hill Baptist Church. Officiating were Rev. Earl Marr, Rev. Elton Martin, and Rev. Elsie Walker, pastor of the church. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
