Mrs. Nettie B. Lofton

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m.,
at Clearwater Baptist Church, for Mrs. Nettie B. Lofton, 67,
of Florien, with the Rev. Homer Fondren officiating.

  Interment was in the Clearwater Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Nettie
Lofton died Wednesday, Nov. 15, after a short illness.

  Survivors were her husband, W. N. Lofton, six sons,
Arthur Dewil of Sumpter, S. C., Lester Dewil of Grapevine,
Tex., Gene and Lovin Lofton of Shreveport, Leroy Lofton of
Germany, Chester Lofton of Hornbeck, two daughters, Mrs.
Fay Brannon, and Miss Linda Lofton of Shreveport; one
brother, Roy Evans of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Lea Miers
of Anacoco, and Mrs. Lizzie Miers of Florien; 17
grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
