William Neal Lofton

  William Neal Lofton, 76, of Florien, died Saturday, Dec. 20, at
2:35 p.m., following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 22, at Clearwater
Baptist Church, beginning at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Rev.
Homer Fondieu, and the Rev. Ernwin Williams.

  Burial was in Clearwater Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include 6 sons, Lester Dewil of Roanoke, Tex., Arthur
Dewill of Sumpter, S. C., Donald and William Lofton, both of
Shreveport, Leroy Lonfton of Lawton, Okla., and Chester Lofton of
Hornbeck; 2 daughters, Mrs. D. J. Brannan, and Linda Lofton, both
of Shreveport; 3 brothers, Lonnie Lofton of Fisher, Jessie and
Mack Lofton, both of Hornbeck; 17 grandchildren, and 4 great
grandchildren.
