Robert E. Loftin

  Funeral services for Robert E. Loftin, were held Thursday, Oct.
27, at 2 p.m., in the Peason Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. E.
L. Thornton, Rev. T. E. Tenney, and Rev. Charles Glass
officiating. Interment was in the Florien Cemetery, under the
direction of Beauregard Funeral Home of DeRidder.

  Mr. Loftin died at 1 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, in a Many
hospital. He was 81 years old.

  He was a member of the Sam Todd Masonic Lodge No. ?, and the
Hines Chapter No. 54 Royal Arch. Also a member of Louis B. Frusha
Council No. 32 R&SM, and was a Retired Member of Carpenters Local
?.

  He is survived by his wife, Loretta M. Loftin of Florien; three
daughters, Mrs. Patsy Cooley of DeRidder, Mrs. Estelle Scherer of
Weatherford, Texas, and Mrs. Arley M. Smith of Sugartown; three
sons, Lee Loftin of North Shore, North Carolina, Bob Loftin of
Sherman, Texas, and Jerry Loftin of Florien. Also 13
grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
