William Leon Lofton

  Funeral services for Mr. William Leon Lofton of Columbus, Ga.,
were held Monday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m., at the Pleasant Hill
Baptist Church, (Toro). Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery
(Toro). Bro. Kenneth Boggs officiated at these services.
Arrangements were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home of Many.

  Mr. Lofton died in Columbus, Ga., after a sudden illness, on
Fri., Nov. 26. He was 50.

  Surviving relatives include three daughters, Kathy Lofton,
Wells, Tex.; Joy Lofton, Wells, Tex., Angela Lofton, Lufkin,
Tex.,; three sons, Curtis Klien Lofton, Yacama, Wash., Rickey
Leon Lofton, Manvel, Tex., Tommy E. Lofton, Angleton, Tex.; three
stepsons, Bobby Lofton, Charles Taylor, Clea Ackey, Jr., all of
Wells, Tex.; two stepdaughters, Becay Durell, Vivian Hodges, both
of Wells, Tex.,; one brother, Kenneth Lofton, Manvel, Tex.; two
sisters, Ruby Rodgers, Hornbeck, Esther Adams of Crestview,
Florida; and ten grandchildren.
