Mrs. Lucille Lofton

  Mrs. Lucille Lofton, 78, of Toledo Bend, died at 7 p.m., Friday,
January 19, 2001, in her residence.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 22, in
the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville, with the Rev. Wade
Cummings officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Methodist
Church Cemetery, in the Oak Grove Community.

  Mrs. Lofton was a resident of Toledo Bend, and a native of West
Monroe. She was a licensed beautician.

  Survivors include two sons, David Lofton of Converse, and Rex
Lofton of Sweeny, Texas; two daughters, Joann Abraham of Toledo
Bend, and Maxie Odom of Zwolle; two sisters, Carolyn Jean Washer
of Taylor, Miss., and Helen Washer of New Orleans; 16
grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and five great-great
grandchildren.

  Mrs. Lofton was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Lofton.
