  William Ernest Lofton - June 30, 1988

  Funeral services for Mr. William Ernest Lofton, 71, of Many were
held May 26 at 10 a.m. at the Warren Meadows Chapel. Interment
followed at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Urania, La. Rev. Hoy Leach
officiated.

  Mr. Lofton passed away May 24 at Toledo Bend Lake in Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lofton of Many, one daughter,
Ernestine Lofton of Oakdale, three sisters, Ada Ree Gregory of
Urania, Alma Wainwright of Tullos, and Bobbie Lee Smith of Urania
and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

  Serving as pallbearers were Tom Gaddis, Mark Leach, Robert
Howard, Gene Lofton, Coy Smith, and Denver Finley.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
