Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, with interment following at Aimwell Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Leach, Sr., and the Rev. E. E. Walker officiated. Mr. Lovelady was a veteran, and served in the 82nd Airborne (Army), in WWII. He was a member of Little Flock Lodge #236 in Negreet. Survivors include his widow, Eliza Mae Lovelady of Avondale; one son, J. B. Lovelady of Destrehan; two daughters, Wanda Guilard of New Orleans, and Demetris Sharp of Mandeville; one brother, Ray Lovelady of Pitkin; two sisters, Lula Mae Rogers of Florien, and Margie West of Oakdale; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
