LaFleur Funeral services were held for Mr. Clifford J. LaFleur, age 65, at 4 p.m., on July 20, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. The Rev. Damon Bickham of Deweyville Baptist Church officiated. Burial was held at King Cemetery in Hartburg, Tex., under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home. Mr. LaFleur died on July 18, in Elton, La., at his residence in Deweyville, Tex. Mr. LaFleur was a native of Elton, La., and resided in Deweyville since 1954. He was a retired crane operator for American Bridge, and a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He attended Deweyville Baptist Church. Mr. LaFleur was born on May 14, 1927, in Elton, La. He is survived by his wife, Fern LaFleur of Deweyville, La.; one daughter, Jacqueline LaFleur Maddox of Marthaville, La.; his mother, Felida LaFleur of Elton, La.; one sister, Adeline Dawsey of Lake Charles, La.; two brothers, Curtis LaFleur of Orange, Tex.; Clarence LaFleur of Greenwood, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
