Drue Leach 26 Jul 1935 - Page 8 - The death angel visited the home of N. F. Leach on May 13, and took from him his wife, Mrs. I. Drue Leach, who was born November 19, 1862, and was married to N. F. Leach Dec. 4, 1879. To this union were born five children, one dead, and four living. Aunt Drue was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist church since early life. Aunt Drue, as she was known by her many friends, had been in poor health for several years. Mid her sufferings and afflictions she was the sunshine of her home; her cheerful smiles and her kind words were the very expression of a godly character. Not only was she kind and cheerful to all whom she came in contact with, but she loved her Saviour in reality and expressed a desire to depart and be with Him. Nevertheless she had a mother's love for her children and husband but she had no desire to live and be a burden to those whom she loved. To know her was to love her. Father and children, weep not for your mother but comfort one another with these words, "That when the Lord returns with the redeemed one, among this number will be your Mother, so prepare to meet her when she come. By one who loved her, W. G. Bailey.
