The Sabine Index - Hollis Leach

  9 Oct 1936 - Last rites for Hollis Leach who died Sunday at 5:20
p.m. from self inflicted gunshot wounds was held Monday at 2:30 at
Mt. Carmel with Rev. H. T. Isgitt of Converse officiating, interment
in the Mt. Carmel cemetery.

  The tragedy occurred at the home of his father Joe C. Leach near
Mt. Carmel about 7 a.m. Sunday.  Illness of several months duration
was given by relatives as being the cause of Hollis’ act.

  Besides his widow Mrs. Bessie Mae Leach and his small daughter,
the deceased is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Leach
and one sister Effie Leach of near Mt. Carmel.
