The Sabine Index - Frank Locke

  15 Jun 1934 - Frank Locke, age 19, died at a  Port Arthur, Texas,
sanitarium at 10:10 Monday morning.  Funeral services were at 8:30
a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic church of Many conducted by
the Rev. M. L. Plauche, pastor.

  Deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Locke of the Francis
Davis plantation near Many.

  He was conveyed to Port Arthur of an appendix operation about two
months ago.   The affected organ was found ruptured but recovery was
thought probable until complications set in two weeks ago. Following
blood transfusions last week the youth was reported doing fine, so
the announcement Monday of his death was a surprise to his many
friends in Many.
