The Sabine Index - Volley L. Leach

  19 Apr 1973 - Volley L Leach, 73, of Florien died Saturday,
April 14 at 8:15 p.m. in Shreveport from an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, April 16 at 10: a.m. at
the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Dunn and the
Rev. Willis Ray Curtis officiating.  Interment was in the
Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Ruby Leach of Florien; one son, V. L.
Leach, Jr. of Florien; one brother, J. L. Leach of Florien;
four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wright, Mrs. Hattie Miller, Mrs. Josie
Salter and Mrs. Curtie Salter, all of Florien; two grandchildren,
Rickey and Vickey Leach and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Sigmon Corley, Donald Funderburk, Freddie
Funderburk, Larry Miller, R. J. Rosseau and Melvin Wright.
