Leach 19 Nov 1948 - William G. Leach, 73, passed away at a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness. Last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. last Friday from Ebenezer Baptist church near Florien by Rev. W. G. Bailey. Interment followed under direction Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers were: Clyde Bolen, J. T. Donaldson, Horace Salter, L. B. Townsend, Curtis Knippers, Gordon Anthony. Surviving relatives include: sons, Dewey, Fred and Milton of Shreveport, Gilmer of Pasadena, Texas: daughters, Mrs. L. B. (Myrtle) Townsend, Sumrall, Miss., Mrs Horace Salter, Many, Mrs. J. T. (Gertrude) Donaldson,, Pasadena, Texas. Mrs. Clyde (Nadine) Bolen, Lake Charles; brothers, J. E. Leach, Natchitoches, Cade Leach, Many: sisters, Mrs. Lee McClanahan and Mrs. Ella Rookstool, both of Florien; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
