The Sabine Index - Mrs. Sallie Lewis

  25 Feb 1944 - Last rites for Mrs. Sallie Lewis, age 54 years,
were held at 11 o'clock Sunday at the Lewing cemetery near
Fisher. Rev. W. V. Neill of Many Nazarene church officiated.
Interment was in Lewing cemetery under the direction of
Dennis-Green funeral home.

  Mrs. Lewis passed away at the family home near Florien Saturday
after a brief illness. Surviving are husband, A. C. Lewis; five
children, one son, J. C. Lewis, four daughters, Mrs. W. C.
Warmack, Mrs. Irene Eason, Mrs. Hoy Leach, and Mrs. Elmer Berel;
three brothers, Allen, Sam and Jehu Lewing; one sister, Mrs. A.
W. Knippers, and eight grandchildren.
