Leach Sr., 84, of Shreveport, were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 12, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street Chapel. Dr. James Taylor of Highland Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Leach died Thursday, at Highland Hospital, after a long illness. A native of Florien, he had resided in Shreveport for the past 30 years, and was a retired civil service emloyee at Barksdale Air Force Base. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Florien, and was a merchant in Florien before moving to Shreveport. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Ballard Leach; two sons, Curtis C. Leach Jr. of Shreveport, and Bobby Lee Leach of Corpus Christi, Tex.; and five grandchildren.
