The Sabine Index - J Lud Leach

  14 May 1965 - J Lud Leach, 74, died May 7 at 3:30 a.m. in
Shreveport. Cause of death was due to an extended illness.
Services were held May 8, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in
Florien. The Revs. W. E. and J. C. Leach and the Rev. Carl Tubbs
officiated. Interment was at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. J. Lud Leach
of Shreveport; sons, W. E., D. D. and Glen Leach of Shreveport;
J. C. Leach of Livingston, David Leach of Las Vegas, Tyrell Leach
of Monroe and Fred Leach of Florien; daughters are Mrs. Marie
Strickland of Florien, Mrs. Lucille Stewart of Shreveport, Mrs.
Edna Earl of Houston; brothers are Hoyt Leach of Lake Charles,
Ocie Leach of DeQuincy and Oscar Leach of New London, Texas;
sister is Mrs. Carrie Montrose of Hornbeck; 30 grandchildren and
13 great grandchildren.
