Walter Lewis

  Walter Lewis, 59, died May 21, at 5:50 p.m., after an extended
illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cleo Lewis of Marthaville; one
son, Walter Wayne Lewis of Marthaville; two daughters, Mrs. Jan
Singletary of Marthaville, and Mrs. Joan Payne of Larouse, La.;
one brother, Fred Lewis of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Alice
Davis, Natchitoches, Mrs. Audie Hayes, Shreveport, and Mrs. Ora
Green of Marthaville; and six grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Little Egypt church on Monday,
May 23, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Lonnie Treadway, and the Rev. E.
Airhart officiating. Burial was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
