Mary Louise Lewis

  Services for Mrs. Mary Louise Lewis, 62, of Pelican, La., were
held Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m., in the Drewett Memorial
Chapel, with the Rev. Walter Garrett officiating. Burial followed
in the Pelican Cemetery.

  Mrs. Lewis died suddenly, Saturday afternoon, Sept. 3, 1983, at
her residence.

  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sandra L. Rains of
Haughton, La.; five sons, Robert T. Lewis, Bernard Morton Lewis,
Stephen H. Lewis, all of Pleasant Hill, La., and William B. Lewis
Jr. of Pelican, and John E. Lewis of Belmont, La.; one brother,
John Eddy of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Spiker, and
Mrs. Edith Douglas, both of Cairo, W. V.; and six grandchildren.
