Alice Faye Lewis

  Alice Faye Lewis, 61, of Many, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Willis
Knighton North.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, at
Union Baptist Church, with interment following at Fisher
Cemetery. The Rev. Rusty Silvertooth, and the Rev. Kenneth Leach
officiated.

  Survivors include her mother, Lovie L. Manasco of Florien; one
daughter, Wanda Pennington of Florien; five sons, Glen Salter of
Dallas, Texas, Robert Salter of Lafayette, Mike Thaxton, and Troy
Thaxton, both of Many, and Chris Phillips of Florien; two
sisters, Nell Caudill of Cleveland, Texas, and Robbie Edwards of
Florien; 12 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Lash Caudill, Gary Dubose, Doug Edwards, Dave
Henter, Bo Johnson, Butch Manasco, Joel Weldon, and George Vount.
Honorary pallbearer was Clint Edwards.
