  Samuel Leach - September 27, 1973

  Samuel Franklin Leach, 64 of Natchitoches died Thursday, Sept.
20, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Westside
Baptist Church with the Rev. J. R. Hearron officiating. Burial
was in the Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of the
Blanchard Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Sammie Lee
Mitchell of Anacoco, and Mrs. Edwena Steadman of Natchitoches; a
brother, Manuel Leach of Natchitoches; and four grandchildren.

  Mr. Leach was a native of the Florien area.
