Mrs. Martha Leach

  16 Mar 1945 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Martha Leach, age 90 years
and nine months, were held 2 p.m. Tuesday from Mt. Carmel Baptist
Church. Rev. C. W. Williams, pastor First Baptist church of Many,
officiated assisted by Rev. Coburn and Rev. Eugene Phares.
Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery, Massingill funeral home
directing.

  Surviving are six sons, Joe Leach, Florien, C. M. Leach, Many,
Oscar Leach, Overton, Texas, J. Lud Leach, Hoyt Leach and Ocie
Leach, all of Hornbeck; two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Elders and
Mrs. Carrie Montrose, both of Hornbeck.

  Mrs. Leach passed away at Hornbeck early Monday . Mrs. Leach was
the widow of the late M. L. Leach, who preceded her in 1903. She
was a native of Sabine parish, having resided here her entire
life. She and her good influence will be missed by her many
friends.
