(Hoyt) Leach, 94, of Lake Charles, were held at 4 p.m., Monday, April 20, 1992, in Boulevard Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronnie Estes officiated. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Leach died Saturday, April 18, at 11:01 p.m., in Humana Hospital. He was a native of Sabine Parish, and moved to the Lake Charles area in 1950 from Hornbeck. He was a retired retail merchant. He owned and operated Henry Heights Grocery for many years. Mr. Leach was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church, since 1950. Survivors include two sons, Huel M. Leach of Lake Charles, and Byron M. Leach of Marietta, Georgia; four daughters, Willoy Leach of Lake Charles, Kathleen Dowden of Leesville, Carolyn Wills of San Angelo, Texas, and Naomi Wenzel; three stepchildren, Dalton Lyons, Mildred Lyons, and Beulah Coley, all of Lake Charles; one brother, Ocie Leach of Leesville; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
