Leach, 86, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8th, at a local hospital. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad, after 47 years of service as a Round House Foreman. He was a member of the Roswell Masonic Lodge of Houston, and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Edinburg, Tex. He was born and raised in Hornbeck. His mother was E. Lissie Miller Leach. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Fay Leach; his son, George Earl Leach; and his granddaughter, Sandy Colatia-Leach. Survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Jean Wallen of Many, La.; two sons, Allan Donald Leach of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Fay Glen Leach of Edinburg, Tex.; one brother, George C. Leach of Sun City, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, 1993, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Tex., with pastor Carlos C. Robinson of Monte Alto Baptist Church, officiating.
