Vertis Leach

  Funeral services for Vertis Leach, 79, were held on Dec. 24, at
2 p.m., at Trinity Baptist Church.

  Rev. Glen Flenniken, and Rev. Wayne Hicks officiated. Interment
was in Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Leach passed away at her residence in Many on December 23,
1994.

  Mrs. Leach was preceded in death by her husband, C. D. Leach;
and daughter, Lanell Sharbino.

  Mrs. Leach was born on May 18, 1915, in Robeline, to Losyer
Rhodes and Levi Benjamin Reece.

  Survivors include her three daughters, Irene Allen, and Estelle
Speight, both of Ft. Jesup, and Faye Brown of Layton, Utah; two
sisters, Myrtis Simmons of Many, and Lena Albritton of Robeline;
thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were David Allen, Mark Leach, Adam Leach, Tim Leach,
Darrel Speight, Wayne Stahlheber.

  Honorary pallbearers were Keith Brown, and Dennis Leach.
