Mr. Billy Ray Lewis

  Mr. Billy Ray Lewis, 43, of Minden, died Saturday, July 18, in
Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 20, at
Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Minden Chapel, with interment following
at Garden of Memories in Minden. The Rev. Jack Smith officiated,
and the Rev. T. W. Barnes assisted.

  Mr. Lewis was a carpenter.

  Survivors include one son, Ron Lewis of Minden; his mother,
Daisy Hamilton of Minden; three sisters, Sherry Humphries and
husband George of Mena, Ark., Patricia Movay and husband Neal of
Shreveport, and Debbie Purvis and husband Mark of Haughton; two
brothers, Ricky Lewis and wife Pam of Zwolle, and Mickey Lewis
and wife Martha of Aurora, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Delinda
Coleman and husband Dennis of Ruston; 19 nieces and nephews; a
host of aunts; sister-in-law, Marie Lewis of Atlanta, Ga.; uncles
and cousins. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his father,
Dallas Lewis; and two brothers, Mariet Lewis, and Rodney Lewis.

  Pallbearers were Alan Hennigan, Mark Depriest, Todd Hunter,
David Eldridge, Jarrett Humphries, and Marty Lewis.
