Mrs. Lillie E. Lewis

  Mrs. Lillie E. Lewis, 62, of Shreveport, died Wednesday, May 17,
in the Doctors Hospital in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness.

  Remains were taken to the Emmanuel Gospel Church, to lie in
state until service time Friday, May 19, at the Emanuel Gospel
Church, with the Rev. J. F. Perry, and the Rev. Gayle Green
officiating. Interment was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include her husband, L. A. Lewis of Shreveport; two
sons, Corbert D. Lewis, and Billy F. Lewis, both of Shreveport;
three daughters, Mrs. Emma Jean Driggers, Mrs. Mary Loretta
Hughes, and Mrs. Mandy Lovetta Pearson, all of Shreveport; two
brothers, Lonnie Evitt of Marthaville, and Charles F. Cobbs of
Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. O. S. Haves of Marthaville; and 13
grandchildren.
