Alfred Daniel Lucius

  Mr. Alfred Daniel Lucius of Florien, died Tuesday, Dec. 11,
1984, at 4:25 a.m., at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. He was 94
years old.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m., at
Florien First Baptist Church, with Bro. Mack Brister officiating.
Burial was in Florien Cemetery. Services were under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Addison Lucius of
Florien; two sons, Dr. Dan Lucius of Baytown; and Sidney Lucius
of Florien; two daughters, Mrs. Claire Thompson of Florien; and
Mrs. Katherine Sistrunk of Converse; two half brothers, V. M.
Murry of Houston, and Slay Murry of Oakdale; three half sisters,
Bess M. Childers of Sugarland, Tex., Velma Spencer of Beaumont,
and Ocie Smith of Alexandria; twelve grandchildren; and four
great grandchildren.
