Julia Maggie Lee Lucius

  Funeral services for Julia Maggie Lee Lucius, 79, were held at
2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 1992, in Pisgah Baptist Church,
with the Rev. L. R. Kelly, and Rev. Lavelle Cooley officiating.
Burial followed in Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home in DeRidder.

  Mrs. Lucius died August 14, 1992, at Beauregard Memorial
Hospital in DeRidder.

  She is survived by four sons, Gene Lucius of Merryville, Don
Lucius of Idabel, Okla. Johnny Lucius of Winthrop, Mass., and
Dean Lucius of Houston; two daughters, Doris Walker, and Shirley
Smith, both of Merryville; one brother, Lee "Snookie" Barker of
Houston; two sisters, Vivian Spier of Many, and Christell Walsh
of Kenis, Ark.; twenty six grandchildren; forty five great
grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by three sons, L. J. Lucius, Milford
Lucius, and Murphy Lucius.
