Lucas Meluin Guy (Jiggs) Lucas Jr., a former resident of Many, passed away in New Orleans, October 27, 1965, at 7 p.m. He was 44 years of age, and a resident of Plaquemine, La. Services were at the First Methodist Church in Plaquemine, conducted by the Rev. Henry Bowdon Jr. Burial was in the Protestant Cemetery, with Masonic services at the graveside. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Debra Marie, age 10; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Lucas Sr. of Addis, La.; one sister, Mrs. E. W. Gassie, Baton Rouge; one brother, Charles E. Lucas of Addis; five aunts, Mrs. J. D. Johnson Sr., Mrs. S. L. Robinson, and Mrs. H. J. Miller of Many, Mrs. H. T. Tacilet, Joplin, Mo., and Mrs. Lloyd Koontz, Pana, Ill.
