Lucius, 70, of Many, died Saturday, Nov. 13, at 4:15 a.m., after an extended illness. Mr. Lucius was born and raised in Sabine Parish, and graduated from Negreet High School and Louisiana College. He was also a World War II Veteran, and served in the CC Camp in Pleasant Hill, before entering the service. For many years, he owned and operated the Sabine Seed and Feed in Many, but had retired in 1971. Funeral services were held in the First Methodist Church Saturday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. W. H. Bengston, and the Rev. Ray Spiller officiating. Interment was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joyce Lucius of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Wright, and Mrs. Teresa Cleveland, both of Many.
