All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Nina Bell Lockwood 18 Sep 1959 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Nina Bell Lockwood, age 63 years, were held Wednesday, 10:00 o'clock at the chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Mack Hayes, Jr., Elders F. Howard Turner, and Sidney E. Neilson officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home. Survivors include two sons, Clifton of DeRidder and Lynn of Florien; three daughters, Mrs. Norman Goodman, Shreveport, Mrs. Louise Ricks, Florien, and Mrs. Neva Corley, Orange, Tex. Four brothers, Grover, Fred and Arthur Wagley all of many and Alton Wagley of Beaumont, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Lina Cobb, Mrs. Ruby Eason, Mrs. Alice Belisle, Mrs. Audrey Slay all of Many, and Mrs. Flossie Nichols of Atlanta, Ga.; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Hoyt Lockwood, Edward Lockwood, Loy McInnis, Raymond Muse, Carnadus Davis, and Aubrey Davis. Mrs. Lockwood was the widow of the late N. C. Lockwood, passed away suddenly at 6 p.m. Monday of an heart attack at her home near Florien.
