Leggett is survived by his widow, Vircy Leggett of Converse; eight sons, Billy Ray, Joe E., and Jimmy D. Leggett, all of Mineral Wells, Tex., Virgil D. Leggett, Houston, Tex., Samuel M. Leggett, Ft. Bliss, Tex., Tommy G., and Bobby L. Leggett, both of Converse, and Albert J. Leggett, Negreet; six daughters, Rosa Mae Batson, Zwolle, Letha Bearden, Fisher, Louise McComic, Florien, Imogene Leggett, Mineral Wells, Tex., Ann Coffey, Converse, and Marie Johnson, Many; four half brothers, W. C. Leggett, and Roy Leggett, both of Oil City, La., Ed Leggett, Logansport, Little Albert Leggett, Red Bluff, Oregon, a brother, John Leggett, Many, a sister, Mrs. Mae Williams, Noble; ? sister, Alma Christopher Joaquin, Tex.; 47 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel Tuesday, March 25, at 2:30 p.m., with the Brother Gabe Walker officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were James I. Leggett, Tommy Leggett Jr., Steve B. Champion, John D. Leggett, ? Williams, and ?.
