The Sabine Index - J. W. Leggett

  2 Jan 1953 - J. W. Leggett, 84, died at 12:14 p.m. Dec. 25 at
his home in Converse after a long illness.

  He is survived by children, Mrs. Mae Williams and Johnny
Leggett, both of Noble, Albert Leggett of Converse, Dewitt
Leggett of Doyline and Mrs. Ocie Lewing of Texas; his second
wife, Mrs. Gertrude Leggett, and children, W. C. and Ottis
Legett, Mrs. Mary Chrislerfer and Roy Leggett of Texas; 41
grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held by Drewett funeral home of
Mansfield. He is buried at Pisgah cemetery, located five miles
east of Belmont, at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 26.
