All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Tommy Gene Leggett (Photo) Mr. Tommy Gene Leggett, 55, of Converse, La., died in the Pleasant Hill General Hospital, Friday, May 11, 1984, at 7:10 a.m. Funeral services were held in the Noble Pentecostal Church, Saturday, May 12, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. C. W. Hogan, and the Rev. Gove Walker officiating. Interment was in the Shiloh Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives include his wife, Helen Leggett of Converse; three daughters, Dianne Cooper of Noble, Lauren Leggett of Converse, and Carol Remedies of Zwolle; four sons, Tom Leggett Jr. of Mansfield, Jerry Wayne Leggett, Alex Ray Leggett, and Carlton Leggett, all of Converse; his mother, Vircy Leggett of Converse; six sisters, Rauzie Bearden of Fisher, Rosa Mae Batson of Zwolle, Betty Louise McComic of Many, Katherine Marie Johnson of Converse, and Ima Jean Leggett, and Virginia Ann Coffey of Mineral Wells, Tex.; six brothers, Billy Ray Leggett, Joe Earl Leggett, and Jimmy D. Leggett, all of Mineral Wells, Tex., Virgil G. Leggett of Huffman, Tex., Samuel Maurice Leggett of Kenner, La., and A. J. Leggett of Negreet; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
