Mrs. Effie Lillian Lockwood

  Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Lillian Lockwood of Fisher, were
held Monday, Sept. 24, at 3 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial was in Fisher Cemetery, with Rev. Otha Greer,
and Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Services were under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Lockwood died Sunday, Sept. 23, 1984, at 5:30 a.m., at
Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, La. She was 78 years old.

  Survivors include her husband, Leander Hoyt Lockwood of Fisher,
La.; one step daughter, Sammie Lea Williams of Waco, Tex.; two
sisters, Ethel Cooper, and Stella Sterling, both of West Monroe;
one brother, Rufus Cooper of Eudora, Ark.; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
